• Max Cushioning, Elite Energy Return: Packed with an additional 5 mm of stack height over the 005 (reaching a protective 38 mm in the heel), the midsole utilizes 100% unblended Arnitel® TPEE foam. This provides deep, plush compression and elite energy return over massive mileage without the need for a rigid carbon plate.
• Indestructible Bio-Dyneema® Upper: The main upper is constructed from woven, bio-based Dyneema®—the world’s strongest and lightest fiber (15x stronger than steel by weight). It offers elite abrasion resistance against jagged rocks and roots while enabling fast water drainage.
• Built-In Knit Collar Gaiter: Transitioning from the rugged Dyneema weave, a new custom one-piece elasticized knit tongue and ankle collar wraps seamlessly around the foot. Acting as a built-in gaiter, it delivers a secure heel lockdown, reduces Achilles friction, and effectively seals out dirt and trail debris.
• Uncompromising Vibram® Grip: Underfoot, a full-length Vibram® Megagrip Elite soleplate pairs with aggressive, deeper 5 mm lugs. This race-tuned compound ensures dependable, high-traction braking and acceleration on steep, wet, or loose mountain surfaces.
